AIJA organises
seminars and law courses either at the Annual Congresses or at other times
throughout the year. These meetings are both organized and run by the AIJA
members themselves through the Commissions. These meetings offer excellent
opportunities to young lawyers and inhouse counsels to network and to develop
personal visibility in the international field of the legal profession.
AIJA
is an Accredited Provider of New York
Continuing Legal Education ("CLE") credits. Our continuing
legal education courses have been approved in accordance with the requirements
of the New York
Continuing Legal Education Board for credits. Please see the specific
course for information about the credits offered by any particular course.
New York CLE credits are accepted in many other U.S. states, as well as by
certain other non-U.S. jurisdictions, for credit. Please consult
with your local credit board to determine whether these credits are eligible to
meet local requirements. Occasionally AIJA also obtains CLE credit or its
equivalent in other jurisdictions. Please review the applicable course
information for more details. AIJA maintains a financial hardship policy
for CLE programs."
The organisers
reserve the right to cancel or modify the Seminar. In the event of cancellation
by a participant, no money can be refunded. A participant, who cannot attend,
may send a substitute participant.
