AIJA organises seminars and law courses either at the Annual Congresses or at other times throughout the year. These meetings are both organized and run by the AIJA members themselves through the Commissions. These meetings offer excellent opportunities to young lawyers and inhouse counsel to network and to develop personal visibility in the international field of the legal profession. The 4-day annual Congress, held in August/September, brings together hundreds of AIJA members for study of issues of interest to both veteran and novice international practitioners as well as helpful exchange of ideas and experience.

During the annual Congress, but also during the half year conferences in May and November, the Commissions and the management committees of AIJA have their working meetings. This is an ideal opportunity to become actively involved in the substantive work of the association and to better get to know the officers of the association. These meetings are open to everyone who is interested in the work within the commissions. During the half year conferences, AIJA also organises a scientific program, the details of which are also available in the seminar programme.
