Hot topics in international construction contracts

25 - 27 June 2015

While the economy in southern European countries is still struggling the building sector in middle and northern European countries is booming. Fuelled by historically low interest rates and concerns about potential inflation the demand for the construction of real estate is steadily increasing in these economies.

Stuttgart, the city between woods and vine, is the perfect location for our seminar ”Hot Topics in International Construction Contracts“. With “Stuttgart21”, the project of a futuristic subterranean railway station, Stuttgart hosts one of the biggest construction sites in Europe.

In our seminar we will especially address questions of contractual liability, typical general contractors’ problems, stumbling stones in national construction law and many other “hot topics”. The seminar will not only cover contractual questions. It will also focus on disputes in construction projects whether litigations or arbitration proceedings. The litigation and arbitration parts render the seminar also interesting for non-construction lawyers making the event “a must” for the members of the Real Estate, the Litigation and the Arbitration Commissions.
