Join us on 19 November 2025, from 13:00 to 14:00 CEST, for the third webinar of the year hosted by the AIJA International Arbitration Commission.
This session will explore the importance of alternative dispute resolution methods in today's complex commercial and legal landscape, examining whether mediation and early neutral evaluation offer efficient alternatives for resolving commercial and financial disputes.
Our expert panelists will examine the practical, procedural, and strategic considerations of these alternative approaches compared to arbitration. The discussion will examine whether mediation and early neutral evaluation deliver faster, more cost-effective, and more satisfactory outcomes for parties involved in commercial and financial disputes – or whether they merely postpone the inevitable whilst adding time and cost.
The session will address key topics including the selection of appropriate ADR mechanisms, the role of early neutral evaluators and mediators, timing considerations for implementing these processes, and best practices for maximizing their effectiveness. We will also explore how these methods can be integrated into existing dispute resolution clauses and their particular advantages in cross-border commercial and financial matters.
Drawing on real-world experience and practical insights, our panelists will explore when and how to effectively utilize these alternative approaches, whilst addressing their limitations and potential pitfalls.
The one-hour webinar will feature an engaging and practical discussion, with ample time for questions from the audience.
This webinar is free and open to all AIJA members.
