Franchising: the right choice for your clients? A practical guide to brand owners and their advisers

16 - 18 April 2009

OBFG (for the French speaking Belgian attorneys) accreditation points 17 April : 6 points / 18 April : 3 points Dear Friends, Franchising is a very popular method for brand owners to grow their business in their own country and very often further afield. In order to be in the best position to advise our clients, we as lawyers need to have knowledge of the different areas of the law that are relevant to franchising and make sure that this knowledge is updated regularly with the latest legal developments. The Distribution Commission and the Technology, Media and IP Commission are therefore happy to invite you to their Franchising joint seminar, which will take place in the beautiful and easily accessible city of Verona on 16-18 April 2009. The team of commercial and IP experts that we are gathering, amongst whom we are lucky to count Professore Fabio Bortolotti and many other distinguished speakers with very different backgrounds and experiences, will provide valuable legal insight and practical tips to help you understand fully all key issues and put you in the best position to advise your clients. Regardless of whether you are an IP/IT or a commercial lawyer (or both!), and no matter how long you have been practising, we have designed a carefully balanced programme that will appeal and be helpful to all. So, please mark the date in your diaries and look out for the full programme of our event, which we will make available to you as soon as possible. Ci vediamo a Verona!
