Connect

The organizing committee is delighted to invite AIJA members to Poland for the 2018 Half-Year Conference.

One of the most vibrant and fastest growing EU cities, Warsaw is a fascinating collection of neighbourhoods and landmarks. Packed with a unique mix of gleaming modern architecture, Baroque palaces, socrealist buildings, some of Central Europe’s finest urban parks, and reminders of the rich Jewish heritage, it is a magnet for business, large corporations on one side and start-ups who inject the city with their energy and creativity.

To match this with equally exciting scientific programme, the conference will be divided into two seminars focused on corporate governance (“Corporate governance – current trends and development” (organized with support of the Corporate and M&A Commission) and the lawyer-client relationship (“Happy ever after! In-house counsels’ and lawfirms’ perspective on how to successfully develop client-attorney relationship” prepared in cooperation with Commission Skills, Career, Innovation, Leadership and Learning – SCILL).

Both the social and the scientific programmes will of course provide for plenty of excellent networking opportunities.
