Real Estate

Who we are

Our Commission consists of a very active and enthusiastic group of real estate and construction lawyers. Our ambition is to provide our members with a forum for understanding and discussing a broad spectrum of topics in the field of real estate and construction law, including transactional work, development projects, commercial lease agreements and related matters. Among others, the Commission focuses on legal, financial, practical and procedural issues in relation to cross border investments. We frequently team up with other AIJA Commissions to look into all aspects of specific asset classes, industry sectors or contract types.

The Commission’s events give an excellent opportunity to keep up to date with recent trends and developments. The group’s global focus helps to better understand the differences and similarities between the various jurisdictions in the world.

Our work is carried out through presentations of cutting edge topics both by aija members and distinguished external speakers, case studies and mock negotiations taking place during regular seminars and at the International Young Lawyers’ Congress. Our membership is dedicated to both experienced real estate lawyers as well as those wishing to learn more about this field of law.
