We look forward to welcoming you to Istanbul, the crossroad of civilisations where East and West truly meet. Once known as Constantinople, Istanbul has been a capital city and major centre for many civilisations through history – Greeks, Romans, Byzantines and Ottomans – and is today one of the few cities in the world that is truly trans-continental, occupying both Europe and Asia, the two continents separated by the magnificent Bosporus.

This seminar will provide the legal practitioners’ perspective on the issues arising in transactions in emerging markets and aims to address the practical skills required for counsel advising in this area.

We welcome lawyers from all areas of expertise who strive to improve their ability to listen and to change perspective, to be able to make the most of any situation where differences clash, be it in culture, in law, or in approach.

Let’s meet where the continents meet!
